This place was absolutely amazing! It took us right back to Italy. Very high quality food. You have to order at the counter and then sit down.

We ordered the caprese salad, capriccio pizza, and espresso for dessert. We also redeemed the yelp coupon for a free mini cannoli (you must check in to get this). We had to split our check so we could each redeem the coupon. They were very accommodating.

We drove 40 min to go here and will definitely return. I highly suggest this place.

I have to admit, I had some pretty high expectations for this place. I mean, everyone says that you can't go to Aiken without stopping for pizza here.

Expectation: Modern decor, Italian-inspired eatery with handcrafted pizzas and a jovial owner who makes you feel like part of the family.

Reality: I was surprised by the decor. It was like "Chopped" but this time with random decor put in the basket. Post cards of Italy, odd painting of an opera character on the wall, Italian flag, soccer scarves, a quote from Anthony Bourdain and the whole "controversy" of cutting the pizza versus using a knife and fork (scandalous)! I get what the owner is trying to do but it's not cohesive and I don't like getting lectured about how I eat my pizza, just sayin'.

The owner was making the pizza but he was quiet and unassuming-maybe he was having an off day? Also, I was very intrigued by the tv program that was on...like a drone flying around different parts of Italy and swooping in on unsuspecting tourists! It was the most mesmerizing thing I've watched in a while. Probably not what you want the customer walking away with as a fond memory of eating at your place of business. Leaves me wanting to say, "meh."

Either way, you can tell that he takes pride in offering an authentic pizza experience, why isn't the same enthusiasm put into the atmosphere and staff? The staff had on a T-shirt and jean uniform and although they were polite, it wasn't memorable. It makes me want to shrug my shoulders and say, "meh."

The pizza is delicious, so if the rest "ain't no thang" to you, I recommend it. If you want a little more of an all-around authentic experience, maybe go elsewhere.

Had a late lunch here last week. Food was delicious. Best pizza I've had outside of Italy.

Was in Aiken and saw this place had the best pizza in town. You have to order at counter. We started with the mozzarella. You could tell this was fresh mozzarella. It was good. The pizzas we ordered was the capricciosa, Bianca AL Prosciutto, and the Italiano There was a bit wait for the pizza. The Italiano was unique and the favorite. The capricciosa would have been good if wasn't soggy.

This place is phenomenal. I am a total pizza snob and I rarely go out for it because I am usually disappointed with it.
My skepticism was erased almost immediately after walking in when I saw the pizza. I found the right place.
It's in an unassuming strip mall, so parking is easy.
The owner is Italian-trained and the brick oven is authentic. It's Neapolitan-style, so if you haven't had it before, you are in for a real treat. You may be surprised if you haven't had it before and it may not be what you expect. You will love it though.
The pizza is basically flash-heated in a brick oven. The crust is thin and crunchy and the flavor is not lost by over cooking.
The prices are right, the atmosphere is cool and the service is excellent.
Italian beverages are available to complete the experience. I live an hour away but I would drive there just for dinner without hesitation!
